| The
Stages of Development
Endovasc has identified promising
drug candidates which may be developed as useful therapies for
specific diseases within the portfolio of the company's
therapies.
These drugs are then tested
for proof of concept and safety. Once
these objectives are achieved, an Investigational New Drug
Application (IND) is prepared and filed with the U.S. Food and Drug
Administration to begin to test the drug in humans.
Once Human Clinical studies results are obtained, Endovasc will
pursue organizations
that have a similar interest and synergistic product pipelines
to co-develop the drug toward marketing approval. Further development costs and commercialization
may be financed by a pharmaceutical partner, while Endovasc receives
long-term royalty income.
If a collaborator or co-sponsor is not
identified, the intellectual property is to be packaged into an
Endovasc subsidiary and funding will be secured to advance the
product through further clinical trials.
Endovasc's drug candidates are currently in various stages of
development.
